What is the most important thing that your professional or personal journey has taught you so far?
That my targets can be achieved, despite any hurdles that life might bring, through sufficient preparation, diligent work ethic and teamwork along with confidence in my abilities.
Which woman, public figure and/or style icon has influenced you the most, in which way, and why?
I am inspired by women with style, class and self-respect applied both in the way they lead their lives and in their appearance, who juggle motherhood with their profession in a difficult environment. A prime example is Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin who at the age of 28 became a widow at a time when women were not even allowed to have a bank account and still became La Grande Dame of Champagne, counting among her many achievements that her Champagne House was the first to establish Vintage Champagne and to blend red and white Burgundy wines to produce Rosé Champagne, while she invented the champagne riddling process (remuage).
What inspires you?
Genuine gestures of consideration, unceasing efforts towards self-improvement or even a kind smile.
How do you spend your free time?
In addition to continuing my wines and spirits education which offers me both knowledge and pleasure, I enjoy reading and engaging in sports, especially swimming all year round.
What’s your greatest hobby?
Family bonding activities.
What is your life motto?
When a window closes another door will open.
What do you believe is your greatest achievement?
Raising two happy and considerate children while working full time.
What is your biggest future dream / wish?
The health and happiness of my family and, no matter how utopian or romantic this might seem, a better and greener world.
